Empowering the world starts with living our values and empowering our team. As a quickly growing company focused on helping people live healthier and happier lives, we ensure that our team members have what they need to do their best work — both in and out of the office.

We are looking for a Sourcing Manager to own end‑to‑end category strategy and lifecycle execution for silicon and EE components across our current and next‑generation hardware roadmap. This role will partner closely with supply chain, hardware, electrical engineering, science, product, finance, and legal teams, as well as with key suppliers and contract manufacturers, to ensure we have a resilient, cost‑optimized, and innovative silicon supply base.

  • Develop Category Strategy: Devise and implement end‑to‑end sourcing strategies for custom and high‑complexity silicon components (e.g., SoCs, Sensors, etc.) used in next‑generation wearable consumer electronics, considering technical requirements, quality, cost, lead times, and supplier capabilities.
  • Lead Cross‑Functional

    Collaboration:

Act as the central commercial owner to hardware, software, firmware, product, and design by aligning architectural decisions and technical requirements with supply chain strategy ensuring feasible, compliant, and cost‑effective product solutions.
  • Manage Supplier Relationships & Performance: Drive strategic supplier engagement, lead RFQ processes, commercial negotiations, and cost modeling, and run structured weekly/monthly/quarterly business reviews focused on capacity, clear‑to‑build readiness, delivery performance, quality, and cost.
What You Will Do:
  • Collaborate with EE engineering teams to influence and align supplier product roadmaps with the company’s long‑term hardware strategy and product lineup.
  • Secure reliable component supply and locked‑in commercial terms to support both production demand and engineering builds for NPI programs across the full EE component portfolio.
  • Apply deep understanding of pricing structures and cost drivers for EE components to lead cost analysis activities at the module and component level, and negotiate with suppliers to meet or beat target cost objectives.
  • Own forecast alignment and supplier capacity planning to safeguard supply continuity for development, pilot, and mass production needs.
  • Proactively monitor global silicon market dynamics, technology trends, and capacity/geopolitical risks, translating insights into category strategies and mitigation plans.
Location:

This is a hybrid role. The candidate should be based in the San Francisco Bay Area and able to come into the office 2‑3 days per week.

Requirements:
  • 3‑5+ years of work experience in EE or custom silicon strategic sourcing or procurement.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field;
    Master’s Degree a plus.
  • Experience working with Tier‑1 silicon suppliers and OSAT partners across Asia, North America, and/or Europe.
  • Background in high‑volume consumer electronics and CM/ODM/JDM manufacturing models is strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience in negotiating commercials and a deep understanding of should‑cost.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills (written and verbal).
