About the RoleWe are looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator (Part-Time) to oversee our inventory, material distribution, and site supply operations. In this role, you will manage gear, uniforms, and educational supplies from receipt to final site delivery across the SF Bay Area.
You will be responsible for receiving shipments, maintaining an organized storage facility, building program packages, and ensuring all materials reach our partner school sites efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Inventory & Storage Management:
Receive, inspect, organize, and properly label all incoming inventory, program materials, and staff uniforms at our central storage facility. - Stock Tracking & Records:
Maintain accurate, up-to-date inventory records and log all incoming/outgoing items. - Kitting & Package Assembly:
Assemble, pack, and prepare welcome kits, uniforms, and site-specific material packages according to program needs. - Distribution & Shipping:
Coordinate shipments via carriers (UPS/Fed Ex) or personally deliver supplies directly to partner school sites as needed. - Regional Logistics Coverage:
Manage supply operations across the SF Bay Area / Oakland, with scheduled site/storage visits to San Jose approximately once per month. - Internal Communication:
Coordinate closely with operations teams via Slack and track hours using Tri Net.
- Type:
Part-Time (Flexibility based on weekly operational volume). - Schedule:
Estimated 4–8 hours per week (flexible scheduling). - Compensation: $28 – $32 / hour + Mileage Reimbursement for personal vehicle usage (or $35 / hour flat rate inclusive of travel).
- Locations: SF Bay Area / Oakland (with monthly travel to San Jose).
- Reliable Personal Vehicle (Required):
Must have a valid driver’s license, active auto insurance, and a clean driving record to transport and deliver materials/boxes between sites. - Physical Capability:
Ability to lift, carry, and move boxes and equipment weighing up to 40 lbs. - Prior experience in warehouse management, inventory control, or field logistics preferred.
