Spare Parts & Senior Manager, RMA Management & AI Hardware

The Spare Parts & RMA Management Sr. Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management of spare hardware, repair operations, returns, and replacement inventory supporting IREN’s AI infrastructure. Reporting to the Director, AI Hardware Supply Chain Operations, this role partners closely with Materials Management, Procurement, Technical Sourcing, Data Center Operations, Engineering, Network Operations, Finance, and Logistics to ensure critical spare parts and replacement hardware are available when and where needed to maximize AI infrastructure uptime and accelerate equipment recovery.

The role will establish and manage the global spare parts and Return Materials Authorization (RMA) strategy for GPUs, servers, networking equipment, optics, cables, and other critical AI hardware. The ideal candidate combines strong inventory and materials management expertise with hands‑on experience managing OEM warranty programs, repair networks, RMA processes, failure analysis, and reverse logistics in complex technology environments.

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in spare parts, materials management, reverse logistics, RMA management, after-market operations, procurement, or supply chain management.
• Proven experience managing spare parts and RMA programs for complex technology hardware, ideally GPUs, servers, networking equipment, storage, optics, or data center infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of OEM warranty programs, RMA processes, repair operations, depot services, replacement policies, and reverse logistics.
• Experience developing global spare parts strategies, including stocking policies, service levels, safety stock, inventory positioning, and replenishment.
• Proven ability to manage inventory across suppliers, repair depots, warehouses, and data center locations.
• Experience managing supplier and OEM performance against RMA turnaround times, repair quality, replacement commitments, and warranty obligations.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use failure rates, consumption patterns, installed base, lead times, and service requirements to develop inventory strategies.
• Experience managing geographically distributed operations, including EMEA and/or APAC preferred.
• Strong cross‑functional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in AI infrastructure, hyperscale, cloud, data center, telecommunications, or high‑performance computing environments preferred.

• Own the global spare parts and RMA management strategy for AI hardware across IREN’s data center footprint.
• Develop stocking strategies for critical spare GPUs, servers, switches, optics, cables, power components, and other hardware based on failure rates, criticality, lead times, service requirements, and installed base.
• Establish appropriate service-level targets and inventory policies to maximize hardware availability while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
• Manage spare inventory positioning across suppliers, regional warehouses, data centers, and repair facilities.
• Own the end‑to‑end RMA process, from failure identification and RMA initiation through shipment, repair or replacement, return, and inventory disposition.
• Establish and manage relationships with OEMs, repair providers, logistics partners, and other service suppliers supporting warranty and repair operations.
• Negotiate and manage supplier commitments for RMA turnaround time, advance replacement, repair rates, warranty coverage, service levels, and replacement inventory.
