Maintenance Technician – Oakmont Senior Living
Location:
Carlisle‑Ivy Signature Living, California
Schedule:
Sunday‑Thursday, 9:00‑5:30
Pay: $22.50–$24.50 per hour

- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Assist with apartment turnovers – painting, carpet cleaning, pressure washing.
- Maintain grounds, including pool and spa, if applicable.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
- Encourage teamwork through cooperation with co‑workers and other departments.
- Prefer six (6) months of experience in the building industry, maintenance, and/or housekeeping handling electrical, plumbing, and structural matters. Knowledge of building construction is helpful.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to interact with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and families.
- Must pass a criminal background check and health screening tests, including physical and TB tests.
- May be required to receive COVID‑19 vaccination, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and wear PPE per regulatory guidelines.
