Head of Growth/ New Business Director (Creative Agency / Production Studio)

Our client, The Electric Factory, a creative-led agency and production studio
, is seeking a San Francisco or New York based Head of Growth to lead U.S. growth, new business, and senior client relationships.

This role is built for a business development leader who understands how creative ideas, production realities, and client partnerships come together to win and scale work
.

• Own U.S. new business and growth strategy across creative, branded content, digital, experiential, and production-led engagements
• Drive revenue through net-new client acquisition, repeat business, and long-term client partnerships
• Lead high-stakes pitches from first conversation through close, partnering with creative, production, and strategy teams
• Serve as a senior client-facing partner, advising brand, marketing, and entertainment stakeholders
• Oversee client engagements to ensure strong delivery, retention, and account growth
• Represent the company at industry events, festivals, and within the creative and production community

• 5+ years in business development, new business, or commercial leadership within a creative agency, creative production studio, or integrated shops
• Strong understanding of the creative agency landscape especially in the New York Market
• Deep familiarity with production workflows, scopes of work, retainers, project-based engagements, and budgets
• Proven success closing creative, content, and production-driven client engagements
• Strong pitch experience, including RFPs, proactive outreach, and relationship-led growth
• Comfortable working closely with creative and production leadership
• Confident managing revenue targets, forecasting, and margins
