We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager - Commercial Interiors to lead and manage workplace tenant projects, landlord services, and building repositioning initiatives in San Francisco, CA
. This role requires a skilled professional with 12-15 years of experience in commercial interior project management, capable of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and adept at coordinating cross-functional teams, including designers, contractors, and clients.
- Lead commercial interiors projects, including workplace tenant improvements, landlord services, and building repositioning
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and scope of work
- Coordinate with architects, designers, contractors, and vendors to ensure project success
- Conduct regular site visits, monitor construction progress, and address issues proactively
- Prepare and present project status reports to clients and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Serve as primary client contact throughout project lifecycle
- Manage client expectations and ensure high levels of satisfaction
- Facilitate communication among all project stakeholders
- Conduct post-project reviews to identify improvements and best practices
- Mentor and guide junior project staff
- Foster collaboration among internal teams and external partners
- Monitor team performance and productivity
- 12-15 years of commercial interior project management experience
- Proven track record managing workplace tenant projects, landlord services, and building repositioning
- Strong understanding of construction documents, drawings, and specifications
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with project management software (Procore, MS Project, or similar)
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and construction best practices
