Overview
City and County of San Francisco seeks a General Manager – Recreation and Parks Department. The General Manager leads the San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department, one of the nation’s largest and most diverse urban parks and recreation systems. Appointed by the Mayor and working in partnership with the Recreation and Parks Commission, the General Manager guides all aspects of a multi‑faceted public agency responsible for over 230 parks, playgrounds, recreation centers, open spaces, and special facilities throughout San Francisco and beyond, including Golden Gate Park, Coit Tower, Marina Yacht Harbor, and Camp Mather in the high Sierras.
