Job Description
THE WORK:
* You'll lead and execute the regional growth strategy for Program and Construction Management services supporting transit and major transportation infrastructure.
* You'll serve as the firm's executive client lead for key Northern California transit agencies and municipal clients.
* You'll identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities, including overseeing capture planning, pursuit strategy, teaming, and executive‑level interviews.
* You'll strengthen and expand relationships with public‑sector owners, decision‑makers, and industry partners, positioning the firm as a trusted advisor.
* You'll provide executive oversight of major programs to ensure excellence in schedule, cost, risk management, constructability, and stakeholder coordination.
* You'll build, mentor, and lead high‑performing teams while developing future leaders within the organization.
* You'll collaborate with firm leadership to align regional initiatives with enterprise‑wide strategic objectives.
* You'll represent the firm externally through industry leadership, participation in professional organizations, and engagement in regional forums.
$200,000 - $300,000 a year
Qualification
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
* Minimum 20 years of experience in program management, construction management, or major infrastructure delivery, with a strong focus on transit and public-sector projects
* BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
* Professional Engineer (PE) license
* Established relationships with BART and other Bay Area transit agencies (e.g., VTA, Caltrain, SFMTA, AC Transit, Capitol Corridor)
* Experience supporting FTA-funded programs, alternative delivery methods, and large capital improvement programs
* Recognized industry presence and thought leadership within the Northern California transportation market
* Demonstrated success in executive-level business development and client relationship management
* Deep understanding of public-agency procurement, governance, and funding environments
* Proven ability to lead complex, multi-disciplinary teams and manage large, high-visibility programs
* Strong professional network across both public and private sectors in Northern California
