Job Title: Chief of staff | Strategy and Operations Lead
Salary
: $140k - $170k p/y + bonus
A high growth technology company is hiring a Strategy and Operations Lead to partner closely with the CEO and executive leadership team. This role sits at the center of company decision making, with a focus on scaling operations, driving priority initiatives, and ensuring strong alignment across teams.
The successful candidate will enhance leadership effectiveness by improving clarity, execution, and operational efficiency across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with the CEO as a strategic advisor, helping to prioritise and execute company wide initiatives.
- Lead cross functional programmes, track objectives and key results, and ensure delivery against strategic priorities.
- Represent leadership in meetings when required, driving alignment and clear communication across teams.
- Prepare materials for board meetings, investor communications, and strategic planning cycles.
- Identify operational bottlenecks across product, go to market, and core business functions, and implement improvements.
- Own special projects that span multiple departments or do not clearly sit within a single function.
- Support internal communications and contribute to the evolution of company culture during periods of growth.
- At least 4 years of experience in consulting, strategy, operations, or high growth technology environments.
- Experience working closely with senior executives, ideally in a Strategy, Operations, or Chief of Staff capacity.
- Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous and fast changing environments.
- Analytical thinker, capable of translating complex information into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders.
- Background in venture backed startups, particularly within technology sectors such as software, AI, machine learning, or financial technology.
- Familiarity with collaboration, project management, and financial modelling tools.
We need candidates based in and around the Bay area - however this will be remote/hybrid to start.
