Overview
For our client, we are seeking a National Planning & Scheduling Leader to join the team of a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space. This role will lead continuous improvement work focused on process discipline, productivity, and measurable operating gains. You will partner with operational leaders and project stakeholders to standardize workflows, identify bottlenecks, and improve execution quality. The position offers the opportunity to create measurable efficiency gains and scalable operational improvements within a Real Estate & Construction environment.
Location:
San Francisco, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $220,000 – $295,000 annually
Responsibilities- Establish enterprise-wide vision and strategy for planning & scheduling aligned with organizational objectives
- Lead regional planning and scheduling leaders to ensure standardized practices and accountability
- Develop and govern effective planning systems, workflows, templates, and performance metrics
- Integrate planning and scheduling with field operations and other key functions to enhance training efforts
- Oversee schedule performance tracking to identify trends and drive continuous improvement
- Coach senior leaders and project teams to enhance planning behaviors and execution discipline
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred
- 15+ years of experience in construction operations, including large-scale planning and scheduling leadership
- Experience with field planning systems such as CPM, pull planning, and schedule performance measurement
- Familiarity with enterprise-level planning strategies like Last Planner System and integrated schedule management preferred
- Strong communication, facilitation, and coaching skills across diverse teams are preferred
