COMPENSATION: $113,022 annual salary, benefits and vacation
The Director of Youth Services leads the Center’s Youth Services department and oversees culturally responsive, trauma-informed supportive services for LGBTQQ youth ages 16–24, with a focus on youth who are unhoused, disconnected, or in transition. This role manages team supervision, program design and implementation, budgets, outreach, external partnerships, departmental systems, funding contracts, and subcontractors. The Director also oversees drop-in programs, mental health services, and housing navigation and referrals.
As a Center leader, the Director advances the organization’s values of equity and inclusion, service to the most vulnerable community members, accountability, and transparency.
Team Management & Supervision:
- Build and sustain a healthy,values-driventeamculture grounded in trust, accountability, belonging, and collective care.
- Directly supervise Youth Services managers and provide interim supervision when roles are vacant, ensuring consistent support for direct service and community engagement with LGBTQQ Transitional Age Youth.
- Embed team leadership values into supervision, meetings, and daily operations, while modeling generative conflict, anti-oppression, and racial justice-centered leadership.
- Support managers in fostering
Healing Justice and Harm Reduction approaches.
Identify opportunities for staff learning and professional developmentaround vicarious trauma, crisis intervention, and healthy boundaries in community-based work.
- Lead short- and long-term planning, implementation, evaluation, and budgeting across Youth Services, including drop-in, mental health, navigation/referral, housing, and leadership programs.
- Develop, track, and assess annual program plans, aligning services with grant deliverables, contract requirements, organizational priorities, and community needs.
- Develop department-wide strategy while supporting effective program implementation, evaluation, continuous improvement, and data-informed reporting.
- Coordinate outreach, marketing, and communications with the Communications department.
- Bringexpertiseinyouth-led program designand culturally responsive programming for LGBTQQ Transitional Age Youth, centering young people’slived experiences, leadership, and expertise.
- Support cross-program alignment and collaboration in service delivery, reporting, and resource sharing to strengthen continuity of care and overall program impact.
- Use data and evaluation to assess impact, inform strategy, and support timely,accurate reporting.
- Cultivate strong relationships with funders, partners, networks, and community stakeholders to strengthen referrals, collaboration, and program goals.
- Serve asliaisonto corporate, government,and foundation funders, including grant writing, deliverables, budgets, and reporting.
- Develop and manage program and grant budgets,maintainfunder relationships, and support grant writing and administration for Youth Services.
- Develop annual budgets that align program needs with funding requirements and restrictions;
- Partner with the Director of Program Strategy & Impact on government contracts, including deliverables, budgets, performance tracking, reporting, and compliance.
- Monitor program and grant budgets and adjust them as needed to meet deliverables.
- Coordinate Youth Services activities with Development, Communications, Volunteer Program, and other program teams;
