We are helping our client find Assembly Technicians to be responsible for building and preparing hardware kits that support the deployment of advanced autonomous and vehicle technology systems.
In this role, you'll work from detailed instructions, assembly procedures, and schematics to ensure components are assembled accurately, inspected for quality, and prepared for integration and testing.
The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in a fast‑paced production environment.
Shift ScheduleInitial training will follow a Monday‑Friday, 9:00 AM‑5:00 PM schedule for approximately two weeks before transitioning to one of the shift options below.
- AM: 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, Monday‑Friday
- PM: 2:00 PM–10:30 PM, Monday‑Friday
- Assemble sensor modules, hardware kits, cable harnesses, and related components according to documented procedures.
- Follow assembly instructions, diagrams, and schematics to ensure accurate builds.
- Perform visual inspections and quality checks throughout the assembly process.
- Use hand tools and assembly equipment safely and effectively.
- Identify and report damaged, missing, or non‑conforming components.
- Label, organize, and prepare completed kits for handoff to validation and bring‑up teams.
- Maintain accurate production and inventory records as required.
- Keep workstations, tools, and shop areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Support inventory organization and material handling activities.
- Follow all established quality, safety, and production procedures.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience performing hardware assembly, manufacturing, or production work.
- Comfortable using hand tools and basic assembly equipment.
- Ability to read and follow assembly instructions and technical documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy.
- Strong organizational and teamwork skills.
and Location
Full‑time, onsite in San Francisco.
