Quince is hiring a Global Product Development Manager for Bedding to accelerate product launches, uphold quality standards and coordinate across teams.
Responsibilities- Own and manage day‑to‑day product development timelines for new products, color and size extensions, vendor transitions, and refreshes; track milestones and flag risks early.
- Coordinate across Merchandising, Sourcing, Fit, Technical Development, Materials, QA, Creative and Vendors to ensure status alignment.
- Ensure all product documentation (technical specifications, build docs, testing requirements, fit inputs) is accurate and ready before vendor handoff.
- Track sample requests, shipments, reviews, fit requests and revisions to keep momentum toward timelines.
- Facilitate product reviews and approvals; monitor testing requests and results to communicate quality outcomes.
- Conduct in‑person country development trips with global and local teams to accelerate decision making.
- Partner with Sourcing to time material staging and finished‑goods production; coordinate photo samples with Creative for marketing preparation.
- Maintain clean, real‑time data across all product development systems and tracking tools.
- Position based in San Francisco, California; 3 days per week in‑office requirement.
- 10+ years in product development or factory‑facing roles.
- Deep functional category expertise and extensive experience working directly with factories and sample rooms.
- Ability to operate independently, navigate ambiguity, and stay highly organized and analytical.
- Strong communicator across language, cultural and functional boundaries.
- Proven record of progression and continuous growth within an organization.
- Continuous learner, curious, proactive, and able to adapt to challenges.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Motivated by fast‑paced collaboration and flexible role engagement.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Pay range: $125,000 – $170,000. The range reflects base salary; bonus and equity may also be provided.
