Overview
Yoh is seeking a skilled Rework & Repair Technician to support a leading aerospace and advanced manufacturing organization.
This position is ideal for a technician with experience repairing and restoring aircraft or precision manufacturing components who thrives in a hands‑on, quality‑focused environment.
The successful candidate will work across a variety of materials—including composites, electrical harnesses, metals, and plastics—to restore nonconforming hardware to specification while partnering closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams.

Responsibilities- Perform repair and rework activities on aerospace components and assemblies that do not initially meet engineering or quality specifications.
- Evaluate nonconforming hardware to determine repair feasibility and execute approved corrective actions.
- Complete repairs on composite materials using techniques such as material removal, surface preparation, bonding, curing, sanding, finishing, and cosmetic restoration.
- Repair and modify electrical harnesses, including wire replacement, connector installation, pin extraction/insertion, continuity testing, insulation repair, and routing adjustments.
- Perform repairs on metallic components, including deburring, blending, thread restoration, fastener replacement, hole repair, and installation of approved hardware.
- Restore plastic and polymer components using approved trimming, bonding, finishing, and repair methods.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, specifications, and technical documentation to ensure repairs are completed accurately.
- Perform component removal, installation, functional testing, and verification using established manufacturing procedures.
- Accurately document repair activities and maintain complete product traceability throughout the repair process.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and production teams to safely return hardware to a conforming condition while supporting production goals.
- 3–6 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, aircraft maintenance, aircraft structures, composite repair, or a related technical field.
- Experience repairing one or more of the following:
- Composite structures
- Aircraft electrical harnesses
- Metallic aerospace components
- Plastic or polymer assemblies
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing work instructions.
- Experience using precision measuring equipment, hand tools, and standard manufacturing equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience supporting aerospace, aviation, defense, or other advanced manufacturing environments.
- Formal composite repair training or certification.
- IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification or equivalent aircraft wire harness repair experience.
- Experience working within an AS9100, ISO 9001, or similar quality management system.
- Familiarity with nonconformance reporting, material review processes, engineering change documentation, and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
