Onsite, 5 days a week; must be available for on-site interviews

Focused on building autonomous delivery robots and automation solutions for a core delivery platform. The team works at the intersection of AI, robotics, manufacturing, engineering, and service operations.

About the Role

The Mechanical Electrical Assembler is responsible for assembling and servicing robotic systems and electromechanical production hardware, following released work instructions and build documentation. The role includes building subassemblies, wiring harnesses, cable assemblies, and integrating compute, control, power, and sensor systems. Functional testing, inspections, basic calibrations, defect identification, and reworking production units are key functions. Tasks also include supporting inventory accuracy, kitting, factory integration, final assembly, shipment preparation, feedback on work instructions, and maintaining a safe and organized workplace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical production units and subassemblies
  • Perform repeatable production builds for wiring harnesses, cable assemblies, and electro-mechanical integrations
  • Install, connect, and test computer, control, power, and sensor systems
  • Conduct functional tests, inspections, and calibrations for quality verification
  • Identify and escalation build defects or missing/out-of-spec components
  • Rework and repair units using approved processes
  • Support kitting, material handling, and inventory for production
  • Follow ESD, safety, and quality requirements during assembly and test
  • Record build status, serial numbers, and production data
  • Assist with integration, final assembly, and shipment preparation
  • Provide feedback on tooling and work instructions for improvement
  • Work in non-climate-controlled environments and occasionally in inclement weather or in the field
  • Handle physical activities such as lifting, moving up to 40 pounds, ascending stairs/ladders, and working overhead
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in manufacturing, aerospace, construction, automotive, or electrical service environments
  • Experience in reading engineering drawings and schematics
  • Proficient in using hand/power tools, hydraulics, and pneumatics
  • Experience with drone assembly preferred
  • Able to connect, terminate, and manage wires; modify and rebuild components
  • Knowledge of electrical/electromechanical sub-assemblies following diagrams, lists, or verbal instruction
  • Basic English skills for reading instructions and communication
  • Ability to meet physical role requirements including various movements and vision capabilities
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States; NDA required
