The Print / Mail Machine Operator, under direct supervision, operates large format printers, large format digital cutter/router, large format laminating and mounting equipment, high speed copiers and other related printing, bindery and finishing equipment used to produce reports, brochures, booklets, forms, maps, directories, wall graphics, banners and signage.
You are excited about this opportunity because you will:Experience:
- Two (2) years of recent experience in the operation of an offset machine and/or high-speed digital production printer (including bindery) in a reprographic or production center environment
- Nature of work requires physical effort and manual dexterity in the operation and maintenance of high speed digital or other related equipment; perform heavy lifting of at least 50 pounds.
- Valid California Driver’s License at time of appointment
Qualifications:
One-year full-time employment is equivalent to 2,000 hours (2,000 hours of qualifying work experience is based on a 40-hour work week). Any overtime hours that you work above 40 hours per week are not included in the calculation to determine full-time employment.
