Systems Engineer
The Trade Desk is seeking a Head of Engineering for VenturaOS, a next-generation Connected TV platform. This senior technical leader will own the platform's technical strategy, architecture, and execution, leading a large engineering organization across consumer experiences, platform software, device/OS engineering, backend services, monetization, partner integrations, and core infrastructure. The role requires 15+ years of experience leading large-scale engineering teams, strong expertise in operating systems, platform architecture, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure, and experience with Connected TV or large-scale device ecosystems.
Responsibilities include shaping platform strategy and roadmap, managing engineering across diverse hardware environments, ensuring platform reliability and scalability, establishing engineering standards, and representing VenturaOS in executive and partner discussions.
The position offers a base salary range of $243,400 to $446,200 USD.
