Automation and precision are a strategic capability.
Quiet Precision is an automation-first, lights-out CNC machining company built for America's reindustrialization. We machine 5-axis parts for robotics, semiconductor, medical, aerospace, defense, and every hardware team in between — prototype to production, at the pace only automation makes possible.
The outcome of this era will be decided on factory floors. America is bringing AI into the world, and the hardware that matters most is only as good as the parts it's made from. We machine them here.
We are looking for a machinist who wants real ownership of a floor built around automation from the ground up.
WHAT YOU'LL DO- Lead equipment qualification, acceptance testing, and process validation on our 5-axis platforms
- Program complex parts from CAD models and formal GD&T drawings using modern CAM
- Design fixturing and work holding built for multi-pallet, probe-verified, high-uptime production
- Run and optimize first-article and production jobs in aluminum, titanium, stainless, and aerospace-grade alloys
- Own feeds, speeds, and tool-life strategy, and document the process knowledge the floor runs on
- Build out our quality system to AS9100 and ISO 13485 readiness
- Evaluate and qualify tooling, work holding, and probing as operations scale
- Set the standard on the floor and mentor the team
- 5+ years of CNC machining with hands-on 5-axis programming and setup
- Strong CAM (Mastercam, hyperMILL, Fusion 360, or similar) and fluency reading complex GD&T
- A bias for action — if you see a problem, you move to solve it
- The ability to own a manufacturing project end to end
- Experience in regulated, high-precision, or tight-tolerance production environments
- U.S. person status as defined by ITAR (see below)
- Experience on high-end 5-axis platforms — Matsuura, Makino, or similar
- Multi-pallet or lights-out cell experience
- Titanium, Inconel, or exotic alloy experience
- Exposure to AS9100, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or DCMA-inspected environments
- CMM programming experience (Zeiss / CALYPSO)
- A genuine interest in automation and data-driven manufacturing
- Military service, or experience in a veteran-owned or mission-driven company
- Real authority over tooling, equipment, and process decisions
- A direct path to shop foreman and operations leadership as we scale
- Top-tier equipment and the mandate to run it the right way
