The RoleWe're looking for a hands‑on field marketing professional who can own our in‑person presence from strategy through execution. This isn't a role for someone who needs constant direction - we need someone who sees what needs to happen and makes it happen.
What You'll Own- Event Strategy & Execution
:
Identify, evaluate, and execute on conferences, trade shows, and industry events that drive pipeline. You'll manage everything from booth design to follow‑up. - Field Marketing Programs
:
Create and run regional campaigns, executive dinners, round tables, and customer events that generate qualified opportunities for our sales team. - Demand Generation Support
:
Work closely with our sales and marketing teams to ensure events feed our pipeline goals. You'll own the $1M ARR contribution from field activities. - Vendor & Budget Management
:
Negotiate with venues, manage vendors, track budgets, and ensure we're getting ROI on every dollar spent. - Cross‑functional Collaboration
:
Partner with sales on target account engagement, with marketing on content/collateral, and with customer success on user events.
- Events consistently generate qualified pipeline that converts
- Seamless execution that makes BeHeard look professional and polished
- Clear metrics showing ROI on every event and program
- Sales team actively requests your involvement in target accounts
- 3-5+ years in field marketing, events, or demand gen roles (B2B SaaS strongly preferred)
- Track record of independently running events from concept to post‑event analysis
- Comfortable with the full stack: strategy, logistics, creative, vendors, budgets, metrics
- Bias toward action - you figure things out rather than waiting for answers
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to travel 30-40% (conferences, client sites, regional events)
- Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools (we use Salesforce, Apollo)
- Experience in customer experience, feedback, or communication platforms
- Existing relationships with relevant industry conferences
- Background in ABM or account-based field marketing
- Graphic design or basic creative skills
- Early stage startup where you can build the field marketing function from the ground up (and potential to help build other parts of marketing function too)
