Travel RN - Med​/Surg Tele

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position specializing in transplant and gastrointestinal patients, requiring a CA RN license and transplant experience.

Job Details

• Work in a hospital Med/Surg Telemetry unit,

• Patient population includes those with liver, kidney, and pancreatic diseases, as well as recipients of liver, kidney, and pancreas transplants,

• Care for patients with complex gastrointestinal disorders and serve as a med-surg/tele overflow as needed,

• Day shifts from 7:00 to 19:30 with three 12-hour shifts per week,

• Every other weekend required,

• Floating to other units as needed,

Job Requirements

• Active CA RN license required,

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required,

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience unless otherwise specified,

• Transplant experience specifically with liver, kidney, and pancreas required,

Additional Information

• Main responsibilities include nursing care for complex transplant and gastrointestinal patients,

• Must adhere to a 50 mile radius rule for candidates,

• Return staff must be gone for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler,

• Only 1 holiday requested off (RTO) will be approved,

• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing ACA,
