Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a BSN-prepared RN with a California license and pediatric diabetes education experience for an Outpatient Pediatrics position.

• Work in an outpatient pediatrics setting
• Day shifts, 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday
• No weekends or UC holidays required
• Shift schedule requires flexibility in days worked
• May float to other units and facilities as needed
• Educate pediatric patients and families on diabetes management and medications
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in an outpatient environment
• No holiday or weekend coverage required

• Current CA RN license
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of pediatric nursing experience, including pediatric diabetes education and diabetes medications experience
• Willingness and ability to float to other facilities and units
• Preferred:
  At least 1 year of ambulatory care experience
