We are seeking an experienced, mission-driven Director of Nursing Services (DON) to lead clinical operations across our continuum of care including Skilled Nursing (SNF), Assisted Living (AL), Memory Care (MC), and Independent Living (IL).   • Full operational and clinical oversight
  • Survey-readiness & compliance leadership (OBRA, Title 22, CA Admin Code)
  • Oversight of up to 60+ clinical staff
  • Medicare Utilization & Quality Improvement leadership

Clinical & Regulatory Excellence

  • Oversee nursing practice standards across SNF, AL, MC, and IL
  • Ensure continuous survey readiness (Federal & State compliance)
  • Maintain compliance with OBRA, Title 22, Divisions 5 & 6
  • Oversee documentation, physician orders, audits, and regulatory reporting

Leadership & Talent Development

  • Recruit, mentor, and develop licensed and unlicensed nursing staff
  • Direct Nurse Managers and Charge Nurses
  • Establish staffing models and productivity standards
  • Drive performance management and professional development

Operations & Budget Oversight

  • Partner with the Administrator on operating and capital budgets
  • Monitor expenditures and manage departmental resources
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with HR on workers’ comp, safety, and return-to-work programs

Resident & Family Partnership

  • Serve as clinical liaison to physicians, families, consultants, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Promote person-centered, compassionate care across all levels

Required:

  • BSN from accredited institution
  • 6+ years clinical nursing experience
  • 2+ years administrative nursing leadership
  • 3+ years management experience
  • Experience in SNF, rehab, or acute care

Highly Preferred:

  • Strong survey history and regulatory expertise
  • Experience leading multi-level care operations
