Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a PACU RN with a current CA license and experience in ambulatory or outpatient surgery settings.
Responsibilities
• Position is based in an ambulatory surgery center environment
• Primarily works in the PACU but may float between Pre Op and PACU as needed
• Day shift, Monday through Friday, with no weekend or on-call duties
• Shift start times vary between 6:00 am and 11:00 am, ending as late as 7:30 pm
• Assignment duration is 13 weeks
• Adherence to a 50-mile radius rule is required
• Responsibilities include providing preoperative and post-anesthesia nursing care in an ambulatory surgery setting
• Returning travelers must have a minimum one-year break before reapplying
• Only one holiday time-off request will be approved during the assignment
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing the contract
Requirements
• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required unless otherwise specified
• Ambulatory or outpatient surgery experience highly preferred
