We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team, primarily working in Pre Op with some transition to PACU. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Pre Op procedures and be capable of handling various responsibilities efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Pre-oping patients for surgery, including patient assessment, IV insertion, foley insertion, glucose check, blood draw, and executing physicians' orders.
- Discharging patients to the unit or their home after surgery.
- Recovering patients in the PACU and ACU.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- California RN Licensure.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Pre Op/PACU.
The position offers a 4x10 variable shift schedule from Monday to Friday, with working hours from or . There are no weekend or on-call duties required.
