Position: Travel PreOp/PACU Registered Nurse - $2,678 per week

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts Monday through Friday with variable scheduling

• Shift times: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 11:30 AM - 10:00 PM

• No weekends and no on-call requirements

• Primary focus on pre-operative patient care with some transition to PACU

• Patient ratio of 2:1 during day shifts

• Responsibilities include patient assessment, IV insertion, foley catheter insertion, glucose checks, blood draws, executing physician orders

• Discharge patients to units or home after surgery and recover patients in PACU/ACU

• Must have 5+ years of Pre Op/PACU experience and previous charge experience required

• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS

• California RN licensure required

• Epic charting experience preferred

• May float to ambulatory care unit or other CPMC locations if census is low

• Care for patients of all ages including adolescents, adults, and pediatrics

• Work with various surgical specialties including ENT, general surgery, gynecology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, urology, and plastics

• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing and provide 7-year work history verification
