Travel RN - Med​/Surg Tele

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position specializing in transplant and gastrointestinal care, requiring a CA RN license and transplant experience.

Job Details

• Work in a hospital Med/Surg Tele unit,

• Care for patients with liver, kidney, and pancreas diseases, including transplant recipients,

• Treat patients with complex gastrointestinal disorders,

• Unit also serves as Med/Surg Tele overflow,

• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19:00-07:30) with every other weekend required,

• Floats to other units as needed,

Job Requirements

• Active CA RN license required,

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required,

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience unless otherwise specified,

• Transplant experience with liver, kidney, and pancreas patients required,

Additional Information

• Must adhere to a 50-mile radius rule for eligibility,

• Returning travelers must have at least one year since previous assignment at this facility,

• Only one holiday request off will be approved during assignment,

• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing contract,

• Holiday coverage may be required,
