The UCSF Bayfront Operating Room (OR) consists of 14 surgical suites and 2 procedural rooms with a 23‑hour surgical stay facility. Our primary focus is multidisciplinary team‑based approach and staffing, advanced technology, including integrated suites and robotic surgery.

Services include, but are not limited to:
Ophthalmology, Otolaryngology, Head and Neck (OHNS), Urology, Benign Gynecology, Plastics, Pain Service, and General Surgery with Robotics.

• Minimum two years of recent RN clinical experience in an adult out‑patient operating room
• Proficiency, ability to independently circulate all case types within at least three of the following services:
  Ophthalmology/Cornea/Retina, GYN/Robotic, GU/Robotic, General Surgery/Robotic, OHNS, OHNS/Airway, MIS SPINE.
• Possession of the legal requirements to practice as a Registered Nurse as determined by the California Board of Registered Nursing and knowledges and abilities essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the position. BSN preferred.
• Proficiency, ability to independently circulate, in at least three of the following services:
  Ophthalmology/Cornea/Retina, GYN/Robotic, GU/Robotic, General Surgery/Robotic, OHNS, OHNS/Airway.
• This position requires flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations.

• CNOR
• BSN
• Proficient in Scrubbing role in at least 2 of the services listed above.
• ACLS; RN sedation

• Active Registered Nurse licensure in the State of California
• Active American Heart Association CPR Certification
