Job Description
Join a PACU Registered Nurse role in San Francisco, where your day-to-day work centers on peri-anesthesia nursing, airway management support, and detailed post-procedure assessment from admission through discharge. This contract is built for a PACU RN who’s comfortable with pharmacology in real time—tracking medication doses, purpose, interactions, side effects, and reactions—while applying the nursing process to geriatric, adult, and adolescent patients.
You’ll follow peri-anesthesia standards of care, perform nursing assessments using established parameters, and coordinate effectively as part of the peri-anesthesia workflow. The assignment also highlights an extensive focus on cardiac/cath lab holding room experience, making it a unique fit for nurses who have spent time in high-acuity pre- or post-procedure care settings.
Shift structure is 10-hour rotating coverage (4 x 10 days), with start times that begin between 9A–11A, and no weekend requirements. Float to other campus locations may be needed based on census and operational needs.
