BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS

Must-Have:
- RN with at least 2 years of Emergency Department experience
- Previous travel assignment history
- Completed references must be provided at the time of submission
- Ability to float to other facilities

Description:

This position offers 12-hour variable shifts.
A California RN license is required.
A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are mandatory.
Candidates must have experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center.

Experience with continuous IV sedation and triage is preferred.
Applicants must manage patients on LVAD and those on prostacyclins for pulmonary hypertension.

Experience with care for ventilated patients and interpretation of dysrhythmias is essential.
This role involves the management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction or failure.
Phlebotomy skills and procedural sedation administration and monitoring experience are required.
Candidates should have experience starting and maintaining IVs.
The daily patient census averages 115 visits.
Candidates will work in a department that deals with various medical and psychiatric emergencies.
Interdisciplinary support is available.
Travel assignments may require reassignment to a different department or facility, if necessary.
References from recent employers must be provided upon request.
This position does require some flexibility regarding scheduling and floating.
Management experience is desirable.
Emergency Department experience is vital for success in this role.
