Position SummaryDevelops, implements, evaluates and revises a plan of care for assigned patients while promoting the mission and values of Kentfield Healthcare. Reviews all patients receiving dialysis therapy and assesses clinical status throughout treatment. Consistently assists team members in the delivery of acute hemodialysis using established standards of care. Practice includes hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis. Provides direct care, delegates, and supervises nursing care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act.
Demonstrates clinical competence, manages patient care, improves quality of care, establishes professional relationships, and fulfills the responsibilities of the role. This is a Per Diem position based in the San Francisco facility.
- Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Dialysis experience preferred.
- One (1) year of experience in Medical-Surgical nursing, critical care, or dialysis preferred (nurse residency program experience accepted).
- Must be able to accurately interpret color test strips.
