Experience:

5+ years of experience in Cardiac Cath/Interventional Cardiology.

Experience with Structural Heart and TAVR is required.
Experience in Cath/EP and Pre/Post procedural care is important.

License:
Current state RN license is required.

Certifications:

BSN is required.
ACLS certification is required.
BLS certification is required.

Must-Have:
Ability to float to other facilities.

Description:

This position involves providing nursing care in a Cath Lab environment.
Candidates must have extensive experience in Cardiac Catheterization and Interventional Cardiology.
Successful applicants will be proficient in handling Structural Heart procedures and TAVR.
Experience must include both diagnostic and interventional catheterizations.
Responsibilities include monitoring patients pre and post-procedure.
Nurses will be required to assist with various cardiac procedures, including but not limited to stent placements and monitoring procedural sedation.
Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in IV management and emergency medications.
Infection prevention protocols and isolation precautions must be followed rigorously.
The job requires the ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
Candidates must be comfortable floating to different departments as necessary.
Strong communication skills and adaptability to changing situations are essential traits for success in this role.
Each applicant must provide two professional references upon request.
Teaching hospital experience is preferred.
Modules may be required as part of ongoing professional development.
