- Employ the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, documentation, evaluation) to deliver direct and indirect patient care within assigned area(s).
- Develop individualized education and care plans in accordance with nursing department philosophies, policies, and procedures.
- Provide education and support to family members regarding patient conditions and care plans.
- Utilize judgment, knowledge, and understanding of patient and family needs when directing ancillary staff.
- Ensure customer satisfaction, maintain patient confidentiality, and address age‑specific comfort, privacy, and general care needs.
- Complete annual competency requirements specific to area(s) of responsibility.
- Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Connecticut.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
