Sutter West Bay Medical Group is seeking a motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our high-performing Neurosurgery team in San Francisco. This is an opportunity to work side‑by‑side with nationally recognized neurosurgeons and advanced practice clinicians in a collaborative, forward‑thinking environment.

• Primarily outpatient focus with meaningful inpatient exposure
• Broad clinical experience across the full continuum of neurosurgical care
• Strong team‑based model with direct physician collaboration
• Modern workflows, including telehealth and Epic integration
• Professional growth opportunities within a leading neuroscience program

• Manage new and follow‑up visits in the ambulatory setting
• Conduct telehealth consultations via Epic
• Support pre‑ and post‑operative care planning
• Coordinate care across inpatient and outpatient teams
• Triage referrals and manage clinical communications
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies in collaboration with physicians
• Educate patients and families to ensure confident care decisions

• Work in a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary team
• Partner with experienced neurosurgeons who value APP autonomy
• Be part of a culture focused on clinical excellence, safety, and patient experience

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) program

• Active and unrestricted California NP or PA license
• DEA Controlled Substance Registration (CSRC)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Additional certifications as required by the department

• Prior surgical or neurosurgery experience preferred
• Candidates with a strong interest in neuroscience and surgical care are encouraged to apply
