Sutter West Bay Medical Group is seeking a motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our high-performing Neurosurgery team in San Francisco. This is an opportunity to work side‑by‑side with nationally recognized neurosurgeons and advanced practice clinicians in a collaborative, forward‑thinking environment.

- Manage new and follow‑up visits in the ambulatory setting
- Conduct telehealth consultations via Epic
- Support pre‑ and post‑operative care planning
- Coordinate care across inpatient and outpatient teams
- Triage referrals and manage clinical communications
- Order and interpret diagnostic studies in collaboration with physicians
- Educate patients and families to ensure confident care decisions
- Work in a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary team
- Partner with experienced neurosurgeons who value APP autonomy
- Be part of a culture focused on clinical excellence, safety, and patient experience
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) program
- Active and unrestricted California NP or PA license
- DEA Controlled Substance Registration (CSRC)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Additional certifications as required by the department
- Prior surgical or neurosurgery experience preferred
- Candidates with a strong interest in neuroscience and surgical care are encouraged to apply
