Role: An experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) provides specialized postpartum care in a healthcare facility.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality nursing care to laboring patients and newborns.
- Monitor fetal and maternal well‑being using advanced fetal monitoring techniques.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe delivery and postpartum recovery.
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to clinical protocols.
- Minimum of one year recent clinical experience in Labor and Delivery.
- Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM), and NRP.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to handle high‑pressure situations with professionalism.
Provide comprehensive labor and delivery nursing care, utilizing specialized fetal monitoring skills, ensuring patient safety, and supporting neonatal resuscitation when necessary.
