Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery

Overview

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN for Labor and Delivery in San Francisco, California. This 14‑week assignment starts on 08/18/2026 and requires 36 hours per week in 12‑hour night shifts. Pay will be based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week, inclusive of a tax‑free stipend to be determined.

Provide specialized obstetric care in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment, supporting a diverse patient population with varying acuity levels. Duties include assisting with deliveries, postpartum care, C‑section circulation, high‑risk deliveries, and neonatal resuscitation. Utilize Epic electronic charting and adhere to all hospital protocols.

• California RN license
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience, including at least 1 recent year
• Current AHA ACLS, BLS, NRP certifications
• BSN degree required; other certifications such as AWHONN Intermediate and ACLS beneficial
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Proven ability to work night shifts, 12‑hour rotations, minimum 36 hours per week

• Previous travel nursing experience
• Ability to float to other facilities in the region
• References from recent employment
