Description:

Parnassus 8 hour days - M-F Ability to float to other UCSF facilities.

Required

Certifications:

CA RN License, BSN, HA, BLS, ACLS

Required Skills:

Minimum 2 years experience in Radiology, Adult Acute Care, Diagnostic Imaging and IR, Procedural Sedation, Pacemaker Interrogation

Preferred:
Experience in either ICU/ED/PACU, or procedural area, Radiology Imaging Nursing Cert., PALS

Administering Conscious Sedation, Adult Acute Care, Bar Code Medication Administration, CDC standard Precautions, Communication and monitoring considerations (sedated patients, verbal and visual contact), CT*, Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Medication Management, Monitoring Conscious Sedation, Pre/Post Procedure, Radiology, Rapid Response Team, Reversal agents, Starting and maintaining IVs

Unit Details:
Ability to float to other UCSF facilities

Special Procedures/Unit Details: RN will provide nursing needs for patients having imaging services including CT/MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, Interventional Radiology procedures. Patients needs include IV support, prep for procedures, moderate sedation and monitoring, recovery, instructions

Ability to wear lead apron as needed. Able to go into MRI as needed
