Registered Nurse Cath Lab
This position is for a registered nurse specializing in the Cath Lab. Candidates must have a minimum of five years of experience in cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology. Experience in Cath/EP recovery is required. Successful candidates will have experience with structural heart procedures and Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR). Knowledge of antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, and various cardiac procedures such as diagnostic and interventional catheterizations is necessary.
The role requires proficiency in monitoring procedural sedation and the administration of emergency medications. Candidates should be familiar with infection prevention protocols and isolation precautions. Experience with advanced cardiac support devices including IABP, Impella, and Ventricular Assist Devices is essential. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to high-quality patient care and have a strong ability to work within an interdisciplinary team.
Flexibility to float to different departments as necessary is required.
