Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

$2413.24/week –

Job Summary:

The Emergency Room RN provides expert bedside care for patients experiencing trauma, acute illness, and medical emergencies. They assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care to stabilize and support patient recovery, working closely with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ conditions promptly and accurately upon admission.
• Perform clinical procedures such as IV insertions, Foley catheter placements, dressing changes, and ventilator management.
• Monitor and recognize changes in patient status, reporting critical findings to the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care.
• Document assessments and interventions thoroughly and in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including telemonitoring and medication administration, ensuring patient safety at all times.

Qualifications:

• Valid California RN license with recent Nursys verification.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent ER experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from AHA or ARC.
• Strong knowledge of pathophysiology, pharmacology, and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team, accepting constructive feedback.
