September 14, 2026 - End Date:
March 15, 2027 - Duration: 26 weeks
- Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 5 shifts per week - Shift Duration: 8-hour day shifts (8:00 AM–4:30 PM)
- Hours Per Week: 40
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $5,600–$6,000
- Patient Volume:
Approximately 7–10 adult patients per day - Patient Population:
Adults - Team Environment:
Support from an attending physician, RNs, and a practice coordinator
- Active California Nurse Practitioner license required
- California DEA with Schedule II/II-N privileges required
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- NP board certification required: A-GNP-C, ANP-C, FNP-C, GNP-C, AGPCNP-BC, ANP-BC, FNP-BC, GNP-BC, ACNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, ACNPC-AG, or ACNPC
- At least 1 year of relevant clinical experience preferred
- Strongly preferred: adult neuro-oncology experience
- Adult oncology, infusion center, or neurosurgery experience will also be considered
- Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings is a plus
- ONS certification preferred
- Ability to complete credentialing within the expected timeframe
- Provide high-quality care for adult neuro-oncology patients in an outpatient setting
- Manage a steady daily patient load while maintaining excellent clinical standards
- Collaborate closely with the attending physician and multidisciplinary care team to support coordinated patient care
- Perform lumbar punctures when qualified and skilled
- Complete shunt checks and reprogramming when qualified and skilled
- Assess, evaluate, and manage adult patients with complex neuro-oncology needs
- Support efficient clinic flow and patient-centered outcomes
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented academic care environment
