Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Provides direct patient care in the emergency room setting, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs. Acts as a patient advocate and ensures safety and quality care across multiple hospital campuses.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to emergency patients, following established protocols and standards.
• Coordinate patient care activities across multiple campuses, including patient assessments, interventions, and ongoing evaluations.
• Serve as a patient advocate, ensuring effective communication and safety throughout the care process.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and modify individualized care plans.
• Maintain compliance with certification, licensure, and onboarding requirements, including timely submission of documentation.
• Participate in on-call rotations, weekend schedules, and flexible shift assignments as needed.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active California RN license verified through Nursys within the last 2 weeks.
• Have at least 2 years of recent emergency room nursing experience.
• Maintain current BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications with valid expiration dates.
• Demonstrate strong clinical skills in assessing and managing acute medical conditions in fast-paced environments.
• Possess excellent communication and advocacy skills for diverse patient populations.
