American Traveler is hiring a CA-licensed RN for an Operating Room Circulator role requiring extensive multi-specialty OR experience and prior teaching hospital background.

• Operating Room setting within a teaching hospital environment
• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
• Ability to float to other UCSF facilities within a 75+ mile radius as needed
• Epic charting system used

• Active CA RN license required
• BSN required
• AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required
• Extensive OR Circulator experience required in GYN, General Surgery, OHNS, Urology, Plastics/Breast, Pain, and Robotic procedures
• Teaching hospital experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• CNOR certification preferred
• Circulating experience in Ophthalmology preferred
• Scrub experience in at least two lines of business preferred
• Two references from most recent employer required at time of consideration

• Serve as OR Circulator supporting a wide range of surgical specialties including GYN, General, Plastics, Urology, Ophthalmology, ENT, Oral, and Robotic procedures
• Experience with Da Vinci SP and Xi Surgical Systems preferred
• RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration and approved by the manager at time of offer; no additional requests accepted mid-contract and RTO cannot fall within the first two weeks of the assignment
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate as travelers
• Any prior employment with University of California medical facilities or their acquired facilities must be disclosed, including dates, units, and manager names for rehire eligibility review
• Travel pairs are allowed but generally will not be placed on the same unit, and married couples may not work on the same unit
