American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with CA licensure and cardiac scrub/circulate experience for a 13-week travel assignment.

• Operating Room setting supporting cardiac, hepatobiliary, robotic, spine, and ophthalmology services
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Day shift schedule with variable 10-hour shifts (7a, 9a, 11a, 1p starts)
• Rotating weekends required
• Overtime support may be needed
• Any charting system experience required

• Active CA RN license required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• CNOR certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room scrub and circulate experience required
• Cardiac surgery experience required
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required

• Provides direct and indirect patient care using comprehensive nursing processes including assessment, care planning, and education
• Delivers individualized, holistic care and coordinates interdisciplinary care plans
• Maintains collaborative communication with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers
• Local candidates accepted at local rate
• 50-mile radius rule applies
• Returning staff or travelers must have a 1-year separation before returning
• Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract
• Only 1 holiday RTO request approved per contract; holiday coverage includes New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
• Must complete lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
• 7-year work history verification required for all candidates
