Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to deliver skilled, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced environment. The RN will coordinate clinical activities, ensure compliance with safety protocols, and support patient recovery through evidence-based practices.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patient needs upon admission, developing individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments following established protocols and physician orders.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate efficient patient flow and discharge planning.
• Monitor patient conditions, recognizing and responding promptly to changes or emergencies.
• Document all clinical interventions accurately within electronic health records.
• Educate patients and their families regarding procedures, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid California RN license and current Nursys verification.
• Possess BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications with valid expiration dates.
• Demonstrate at least 2 years of recent ER RN experience.
• Be able to work 3x12-hour shifts, including nights, days, or evenings on a rotating schedule.
• Maintain compliance with California licensing and hospital policies.
• Have the ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations efficiently.
