Job Summary:

PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) Registered Nurse position available in the region. This role involves providing post-anesthesia recovery care, airway management, and pain control in a fast-paced outpatient surgery center environment. The position requires flexibility to float to other facilities within the area as needed.

• Schedule:
  
  Day shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  
  Valid California RN license, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications, and minimum of 3 years of experience, including 3 years in Post Anesthesia Care Unit, airway management, anesthesia recovery, and pain management. Must be able to work in preoperative or extended care units.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  Certified Critical Care Nurse (CCRN) or Certified Pediatric Advanced Nurse (CPAN), 2 years of critical care experience.
• Additional Information:
  All references must be in hand at time of submission. The candidate must have previous charge experience, and proficiency with Epic charting system is required. Experience with outpatient surgery, outpatient anesthesia recovery, and ability to work in multiple unit environments are essential. Candidates must have completed required modules prior to start, completed within 24 hours inclusive. Start date is 10/06/2026, with assignment ending on 01/05/2027.
