American Traveler is hiring a Tele/Ambulatory Care RN for a night shift assignment requiring CA RN licensure and 2 years of telemetry and ACU/PACU experience.
Requirements- Active CA RN license
- BLS certification (AHA)
- Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience and ACU/PACU experience required
- Epic charting experience required
- Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred
- Previous charge experience preferred
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Ambulatory Care unit in an acute care hospital setting
- Provides direct patient care, education, and care coordination for telemetry and ambulatory care patients
- Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00-07:30 on a rotating schedule
- Weekend rotation required with no on-call responsibilities
- Uses Epic charting system
- Assess, coordinate, deliver, and evaluate holistic nursing care tailored to psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors
- Foster collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare team members through effective communication
- Facilitate transitions of care within an acute care setting
- Holiday coverage required for New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day, with only 1 holiday request approved per contract
- Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract
- Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius at local rate
- Returning employees must have a 1-year separation before returning as a traveler
