Responsibilities
- Perform soldering and rework on PCBs, including 0201 discretes and fine‑pitch BGAs under a microscope
- Execute board modifications, debug issues, and support rapid design iterations
- Follow detailed work instructions, schematics, and test procedures with high accuracy
- Run functional tests on incoming and assembled hardware; document results clearly
- Support incoming inspection and ensure hardware meets quality standards
- Assist with lab operations, including organization, equipment upkeep, and basic lab management
- Calibrate and maintain test equipment; coordinate with external vendors as needed
- Partner closely with engineers to troubleshoot issues and improve designs
- Strong hands‑on experience with fine‑pitch soldering and PCB rework
- Comfortable working under a microscope on small, delicate components
- High attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
- Experience with electronics testing and lab equipment
- Self‑starter who’s comfortable at the bench and adapting in a startup environment
- Nice to have:
Experience in a regulated environment, especially medical devices - Familiarity with IPC‑A‑610, IPC‑A‑600, IPC‑7711, IPC‑7721, IPC‑6012, and IPC‑6013
- Exposure to equipment calibration or lab coordination
