Are you passionate about precision, quality, and advanced technology? Join a rapidly growing drone manufacturer where your work directly impacts the performance, reliability, and safety of cutting-edge unmanned aerial systems (UAS).
We're seeking a Quality Technician (Quality Inspector) to support the inspection and verification of flight-critical components and assemblies, including carbon fiber structures, electronic systems, propulsion components, and final drone assemblies. In this role, you'll work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and supplier teams to maintain the highest quality standards as we scale production of innovative aerospace products.
If you enjoy hands-on problem solving, working with complex hardware, and being part of a team that's shaping the future of autonomous flight, we'd love to hear from you.
As a Quality Technician, you'll play a critical role in ensuring components and assemblies meet engineering requirements before they are integrated into our aircraft and delivered to customers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of drone components, subsystems, and finished aircraft.
- Conduct dimensional, visual, and functional inspections using precision measurement equipment and inspection tools.
- Operate structural testing equipment to evaluate incoming materials and components using standardized load and stress-testing procedures.
- Inspect carbon fiber and composite structures for defects such as delamination, voids, structural damage, and dimensional variation.
- Verify compliance to engineering drawings, GD&T requirements, specifications, and manufacturing standards.
- Inspect and validate a wide range of parts, including:
- PCBAs and electronic assemblies
- Carbon fiber and composite structures
- Motors and propulsion systems
- Machined and fabricated metal components
- 3D-printed parts
- Electromechanical assemblies
- Record inspection results and maintain traceability within the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Identify and document nonconforming material, apply containment measures, and collaborate with engineering and suppliers on corrective actions.
- Participate in root cause investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and refine inspection methods, plans, and best practices as production operations continue to grow.
- Prioritize inspection activities to support production schedules, aircraft deliveries, and customer commitments.
- Ensure quality documentation, reports, and inspection records are accurate, complete, and compliant.
What we're looking for:
