SDET Senior Test Lead

An experienced
Senior QA Engineer with strong expertise in Retail/POS (Point of Sale) systems and test automation
. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in retail applications, automation framework development, API testing, and end-to-end quality assurance in Agile environments.

• QA resources must be physically present in the Stores Lab to perform testing on customer devices.
• Multiple Store Zero testing for upcoming new store deployments
  
  Localization testing from US customer labs Validation for region-specific compliance, including regulatory, tax, language, and business rule requirements
• Develop and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases for Retail/POS applications.
• Perform Functional, Integration, System, Regression, and UAT testing.
• Validate POS functionalities including sales, returns, exchanges, promotions, discounts, loyalty programs, inventory, pricing, and payment processing.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Conduct API, database, and end-to-end testing.
• Identify, track, manage defects through resolution.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and business stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and support production releases.

• 1. Strong experience in api testing and web services testing
• 2. Proficiency in using automation tools like selenium for web application testing
• 3. In-depth knowledge of sdet (software development engineer in test) methodologies
• 4. Familiarity with programming languages such as java, python, or ruby
• 5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• 6. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in testing processes
• 7. Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• 8. Good communication and leadership skills

• Omnichannel Retail and eCommerce integrations.
• Mobile POS testing experience.
• Payment systems and loyalty program testing.

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.
