Company OverviewA clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing innovative oncology therapeutics is seeking a talented Analytical Scientist to join their Pharmaceutical Sciences team. Our pipeline includes novel small molecule inhibitors targeting specific resistance mechanisms in genetically defined cancers.

- Perform sample analysis using standard laboratory techniques including weighing, pipetting, and operation of analytical instruments (HPLC, LC-MS, GC, UV-Vis, Karl Fischer, dissolution apparatus, etc.).
- Execute analyses with thorough understanding of test procedures, scientific principles, and proper instrument operation to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Operate instrument control software for data collection, processing, calculation, and report generation.
- Maintain detailed and compliant laboratory notebook records ensuring traceability and consistency in documentation.
- Prepare test solutions, reagents, and samples following written protocols with precision.
- Develop presentation materials and communicate research findings to management and at team meetings.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Process Chemistry and Formulation Development teams.
- B.Sc. in Chemistry with minimum 3 years of relevant research experience, OR M.Sc. in Chemistry with at least 1 year of pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience.
- Hands-on proficiency with analytical techniques including:
- Chromatography (HPLC, GC, LC/MS)
- Spectroscopy (UV-Vis, FTIR)
- Titration methods (Karl Fischer, acid-base)
- Dissolution testing
- Particle size analysis (laser diffraction)
- Microscopy and compendial methods
- Experience with laboratory software systems (e.g., Chemstation, Empower, Excel) for data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Strong initiative with proven problem-solving abilities and experimental design input.
- Track record of laboratory achievement and innovation.
- Knowledge of ICH guidelines, USP requirements, FDA guidance, and GLP practices.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and safety-consciousness.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
