Experiments will also require molecular and biochemical analyses of these cell culture experiments, including gene expression by RT-PCR, western blot, mass spectrometry to be run by a collaborator, and transcriptomics, as well as the necessary sample preparation techniques needed to perform these analyses.
The candidate will be responsible for managing multiple cell lines simultaneously. The candidate will be trained in new techniques and will plan experiments in collaboration with other lab members and Dr. Goldberg, with the expectation that they become increasingly independent throughout the course of the appointment.
